It was blowing a gale on Friday night,, freezing too, as you'd expect on a Winters Wombat

Sitting by the fires, was almost hazzardess with sparks and embers. Sleeping through the noise was hard, and then the buffeting of our camper made it worse.
We reckon its the wettest and probably the coldest (due to the freezing winds) event we've had.

Hey chops I reckon that camper was rocking more than the wind was doing... Suppose though you do have to keep warm
Have to agree with you it was great weather for a winter wombat. When it did rain it was due to the wind almost horizontal.

The wind was the worst part, i can cope with the cold and light rain but add the wind and is was miserable - especially Sunday morning trying to pack up the water logged camper.
