Restoration Project on the road again.

G'day fellow Land Rover Owners. Ben & Kirsty Gibson here. Just letting you all know that our Land Rover Defender 300 tdi Wagon Restoration project named Alana, Is registered & on the road again. After 1 year & 9 months of work. We're on the road again. For those that don't know. Our Land Rover Defender Wagon was named Alana after we lost our first daughter Alana in January this year. Stillborn. We're happy to announce that we are pregnant again with Alana's little brother or sister. We wont find out until it's born. Any way, Looking forward to some adventures exploring the countryside around Queensland's Beautiful Sunshine Coast Hinterland & beyond. Some camping, fishing & 4x4ing too. If you see us out & about, Don't be afraid to say G'day. We'll be waving too. Attachment 127624

Welcome Ben and Kirsty to the forum. the Defender looks good and ready for the road. Have you got the CRAB fitted for your pending arrival?

    Hey Ben and Kirsty,

Welcome to the forum. So sorry to hear about your loss. My wife and I lost our first child 10 years ago come September and I joined aulro two months later to help distract me from the grief. Sounds like you've accomplished a lot and naming your Defender Alana is a great idea. Hope and pray that your next pregnancy goes well all the way to full term and that you'll soon have a child to turn and wave at in the car. At least a noisy defender will drown out the sound of them yelling!

I'll give an extra big wave to any Defender I see down in NSW just in case you've traveled this far.

    Rick
