Parochialism is being fed at an intrinsic level.

On Qld commercial TV news, a citizen or company or sportsperson for that matter that succeed overseas aren't Australian's, they're Queenslanders.

It's something you don't hear in any other state TV commercial news to anywhere near the same degree.
