It's a complete PITA having VIC and NSW on Daylight Saving time, whereas in W.A there is none. So we go from a 2 hour time difference to a 3 hour time difference. Another hurdle for business on both sides of the country to deal with. Either all do it as a country, or don't IMHO.
At least 'over East', it's actually nice getting back from work (times fixed at 9-5) and then still have 3-4 hours or so daylight to enjoy doing other non work stuff!
Long balmy evenings are magnificent! and clock time is an invention anyway.
...I like variety and change, so I love it.
I wonder if it would be more of a PITA if there were no time zones at all? [bigwhistle]
Nearly 6pm and the suns up- I Love it.
I did hear that sleep is an issue. 21% increase in cardiac issues with one hour less sleep would you believe! Just for one day!!!
Get a 22% reduction when we drop it[bigwhistle]
I suppose if I had a battery on my solar system I could literally save the daylight to use after the sun sets.
i love daylights saving, can do things in the evening now.
wish we had it all year round.
only make sense in the southern states.
