Scam calls to your mobile. Or landline...

It must be the season - again - for the scammers to surface.

Today, it was an English,,, no, not a gentleman from the sub-continent, a real, pukka English accent. Oh alright, a whiff of 'Exeter' and tending towards 'better class of Londoner'.
This one referred to a mythical call from his company last year, by "Daniel Taylor"... and he was following up on that.
No, didn't let him get a word in edgewise, I talked over his feeble attempt to talk over me.... NO CHANCE !

Anyway, "Equity Research" from Zurich Switzerland will have to look elsewhere for a bunny to buy their Market Information.......

Yes, definately from the other side of the planet and came up on my phone as a +41 xx xxx x9 09
    - Number now blocked, was sufficiently underwhelmed by them that I don't think they'll try again with a different number. (Has happened before...)

And my 80+ Father-In-Law was contacted by a scammer this morning, wanting to know if he was happy/not happy with the number of 'nuisance' or 'advertising' phone calls he was getting... Then, as a check that they had the correct recipient, wanted his credit card number...as a verification.!

    Didn't work.

Yes I think many of us have been 'Underwhelmed" by these calls and those fictitious emails about Tax bills and traffic infringements.

It is an absolute shame that it isn't possible to fire a bullet via a return email

Maybe I should use their phone number and make it known /used / given to disreputable web-sites... that way it becomes sold and passed around and put onto lists of number for sale.... Lots of nuisance calls... A dose of their own medicine!
