Taking vitamins does not change your life expectancy at all. The vitamin Industry, much like naturopathy/homoeopathy is a sham. Vitamins are useless for you unless have an illness that makes you anaemic and you are in need of iron tablets as prescribed by a doctor or something similar. Regular healthy people don't need vitamin pills.

    YMMV indeed.

Your concussion seems to be, gram doses of vitamins wards off flu, because - just look at me over the last 5 years. By the same reasoning, do I conclude, gram doses of vitamins leads to cardiac surgery, because - just recently CABG x 5.

The flu changes every year. There are multiple strains of the flu. The vaccination only covers the four strains predicted to be most common in Australia each year. Your doctor can get you tested to confirm if you have one of the strains. Brisbane B was nasty with vomiting, diarrhoea and violent headaches.

The chimney is the visible outside structure -- the brick, block, slate or rock.
The flue is the internal shaft (from a fireplace, a woodstove or a burner) that vents the gases and smoke produced from the fire to the outside.
Oftentimes, the terms "flue" and "liner" are used interchangeably, although the flue is technically the air space inside the liner.

If a flue is cracked or broken, gases or flames can breach the opening and get inside the house. Not a healthy situation.
