That wasn't the greatest Rodeo model either from memory....
You could by a very nice D2 with that sort of money and you wouldn't look like some 18 year old "poser" driving it like you would with this thing.
Just another Isuzu Rover
The world is full of Land Rovers and wannabe Land Rovers.
He appears to have done a pretty good job of melding the LR guards to the A-pillar and doors - but the paint job could be hiding a lot of flaws. The paint reminds me of the camouflage schemes used by car manufacturers to hide the new model's body lines.
He’s put (most) of a good body on a dog. Mate had that model and it spent more time in a workshop than on road. Drank like a drunken sailor too.
He sold it when his alternator bracket snapped so the alternator went flying around in the engine bay LOL
Now if it had a 2.8 diesel it may actual be a good vehicle, sort of [bigrolf].
We unfortunately had that model Rodeo allocated to my department when I was studying/working at uni and we used it getting to our sampling sites out in the field. Spent more time at the workshop getting fixed than on the road. I initially thought only our vehicle had issues and we just happened to get a lemon, but other departments reported the same thing. The night before it got traded in something else broke on it. For us at least, it was a total POS and everyone hated it's lack of reliability. On the other hand, the 80 Series Cruiser we often borrowed had no issues whatsoever, and that thing got thrashed. Oh well.....
