Foot prints but no bones found

Interesting that in the North West they discover dinosaur foot prints but never find dinosaur bones.

Because if a dinosaur makes footprints it’s still moving, so look where there’s no footprints... 😆😉

The deposition environment of sediments that favours preservation of footprints is not the same that favours preservation of bones. End of story.

There is no reason to expect to find bones where you find footprints except in very special circumstances. Footprint preservation requires very shallow water followed by calm water deposition of fine sediments. Preservation of bones requires deep water and lots of fine sediments plus some mechanism to get the dinosaur into the deep water, for example a flood that would destroy any footprints.
