    I once knew a bouncer who used to relish calling mischievous punters 'pickles', 'peanuts' and even went so far as to call a guy a 'fridge mechanic'.
    One cannot simply bring out the big words in a pub-fight. The humour and juxtaposition of insults was refreshing.

    Ha! Typos.
    Just like the time I ended that work email that went to everyone with "Retards, Mitch"

    I suppose a Pedrophiles could be lovers of Pedro. You blokes can decide if that's a rude word or not

    Can I claim Dyslexia on Shif-for-brains? It's a crippling disability that shows no remosre.

    the etymology of Pedro is a derivative of the latin petra, which is based on the same greek word .. = stone or rock

    pedrophile = lover of rock.

    ACDC, Deep Purple, Led Zep .. etc.

    I'm assuming most of us here are probably pedrophiles, in one way or another!

    On an unrelated side note, rocks are not generally associated with swiftness .. solidity, and timelessness .. age etc. ie. slow to erode or move.

    In days bygone, it was not unheard of for rocks to be associated with relative swiftness, broken windows, new and existing enemies.

    Not at all.

    The most erudite and intelligent people I know are the biggest swearers!

    There's been quite a few studies regarding swearing too, I'll see if I can dig one or two up.

    Many a young lad of my era had one of these hanging out of his back pocket. Not me though, I was a good boy.
