Wifey & I are going to see the great man today, at AAMI Stadium. Hope the weather is good, because it's not undercover!
We have to get there early for Sir Paul's sound check, before the show starts at 6.30.
I saw him interviewed on the 7.30 Report last night,....no false airs about him,....asked why he's still performing, He said He said it's what I do, I just love it.
Pretty easy to get to for us, we just hop on the train, get off at Richmond for a short walk to the venue.
I'll let you know how it goes.

Saw him in Perth. The voice is not what it was but you won't be disappointed with the show. After what I thought was a bit of slow start he got into his rhythm and truly delivered in full for 3 hours.
There can't be too many people in the world that can draw on so much back material of such high quality over such a long time frame. Pre Beatles stuff, Beatles favourites, Wings and solo efforts post Wings.
Glad I went because I don't think I'm going to see someone like that again any-time soon.

A bloke I know visited Paul at his house in the States, and Paul was doing the dishes in the sink.
He said that seemed kinda surreal.
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

It was a wonderful concert, and considering recent weather we were lucky with that.
We were able to secure a "V.I.P." Package which enabled us to attend Sir Paul's sound check which was like a mini concert in itself, in which He sang some real classic stuff like Elvis' "Blue Suede Shoes".
Then went back to the "V.I.P." (that's what they call it!) for a nice feed & drinks, had some good conversation with some nice people, which put us in a good frame of mind for the concert.
I thought Paul's voice was pretty good, particularly as I think He was on for around 3 hours, although I didn't time it.
But, glad we went, maybe won't get the opportunity to see him again.
