Suicide and depression I read. I didn't picture her as the sort of person to take those challenges lying down.

Where I work, it is drummed into us that "we" (each individual) are responsible for workplace safety for ourselves and our colleagues. If "we" see an unsafe workplace safety issue, we are to take action and report it, no matter who.

Some time back, I was observed on site not wearing my hi vis jacket. One of my colleagues observed this, stopped me and escorted me back to my workstation. I put on my hi vis, the incident was reported and a reminder was put on our web page that hi vis must be worn on site at all times. That is how it is supposed to happen. My colleague wasn't barraged by hate messages on twitter, at least, I hope not.

So, here was an actress who was concerned about her safety in the workplace and the safety of her colleagues. And she was bullied for it.
I wonder if Jaxton Wheeler is regretting his tweet?

I haven't read an apology from Jaxton either.

It's a pity, you know. Everyone will be grabbing the cheap headline. "Death of a porn star."
The real headline should be "Cyber bullying on twitter claims another young life."

Hmmmm, have to say I didn't know who August Ames was. Seems I not up on the porn industry.

Jaxton has responded as below so I don't think your going to see an apology.

I'm going to sleep just fine, I stood up for the Gay and Bisexual community, or I say nothing and let more people mislable and judge millions, because of one misinformed mouth? No one told her to do anything harmful to herself.

Seem to recall someone got thrown in the click recently for encouraging someone to suicide on social media.
