I do like the D2 as it has a lot of modification potential as Les Richmond Automotive have shown. If the new Defender isn't the answer I wouldn't be surprised if would be traditional Defender buyers go for a D2. Though I'm surprised prices are so low. Some are below D1 prices. I saw a D2 Td5 manual on eBay with ARB bullbar, 2" lift etc. that sold for $1,700 as it had a suspected head gasket failure.
