So, that's an Ostrich with young ones ..... so there are feral ones breeding in the wild - unless they've recently escaped from an ostrich farm.

Ps. yes, birds have dicks.

It's only logical that there would be feral ostrich groups as they were farmed, pretty much unsuccessfully, on a few occasions, especially in SA. Camels thrive here, so why not ostriches?

We've seen the ostrich on the Birdsville track a couple of times over the years, a friend saw it last year when they were out there.
