Warranty don't apply outside the cities - if outside of Perth not likely to be warranted.
Well will be interested to see if Cooper Tyres honour their tyre warranty. Taking the Ducati into Kal for a service this morning and following behind my wife in the fender. Noticed white powder stuff coming from rear tyre then ping ping ping something was coming down the road at me. Defender pulled up tyre flat in about two seconds. Changed tyre and walked back down the road to find a bolt about 12 mm x 150 mm as the culprit. Can not say I am happy with something that big going through a tyre on the road. Useless scum that drop **** all over the road. The Tyrepower rep I bought them from is going to find out on Monday if Cooper will honour their warranty. Will test if I buy any more. Less than 10,000kms. Also ripped off half a lug.
Not happy Jan.

id be checking the defender to see where the bolt fell out from...!!
coopers dont warrant tyres that have punctures.......or have had punctures repaired.....
I had a stick go through the tread face of a Simex Jungle Trekker 2 that was probably 2000km old. If one of those can be punctured, then anything can.
Cheers

From the warranty section of the Cooper Website
"The Mileage Warranty is only applicable at participating authorised Cooper agents in capital cities within Australia.
Ask the tyre dealer if they participate in this programme. Most capital city stores do. All country stores do not.
How to maintain the warranty
Every 10,000 kms you need to return to any authorised Cooper dealer to have your tyres balanced aligned and rotated. Participating dealers will endorse the Warranty Card. Every dealer has the right to refuse endorsing your warranty card if a fault is present in your vehicle that is causing erratic or rapid tyre wear.
What it will cost you
Check the Warranty Card as it has a special low price for Cooper customers.
How to Claim on any Shortfall
As long as an authorised Cooper dealer has endorsed your warranty card every 10,000 kms and the original warranty card and invoices for the regular services are forwarded to your Cooper state distributor. The Cooper state distributor will then organize through an authorised Cooper dealer to credit you with any shortfall you may be eligible for based on the warranty conditions off your next purchase.
Who isn’t Eligible for the Warranty?
Taxi or Hire vehicles
A participating dealer has the right to refuse or vary the warranty period based on their discretion, or because of the particular use of the vehicle.
The mileage warranty is only applicable to Capital City purchases. When used in the same conditions, Cooper Tires will usually outlast most competitor brands, however, some areas in Australia will cause rapid wear beyond normal use with any brand, that is why the mileage warranty is restricted to Capital Cities.

I would have thought that any expectation for Coopers to replace a tyre punctured by a bolt is pretty far fetched. Bit like claiming for a radiator leak when a bloody great rock has gone through it!
Coopers replaced a tyre for me with 45.000km and no warranty card because of chipping. I'm now on another set of ST's and delighted with wear, grip and......touch wood...... never had a puncture.
D4 SDV6, a blank canvas
Seems to be a pretty limited warranty to me.
Just enough to put up big brags in their advertising. I was not told I was not eligible for the warranty as I do not reside in a Capital City.
I must admit it almost worked, I was considering Coopers & BFG's when I bought tyres last year. The local Goodyear people came up with the best deal on 10 tyres. 5 AT's for road & beach use & 5 MTR's for Mud & Rocks. I must say I was reluctant to try Wranglers again after some poor performance in the past, but the local guy said that they are a new breed now & if I did find them crap he would exchange them. I did not need to take up the offer as they are really good performers.
Hi Craig
When I got my Coopers the dealer told me I couldnt get the warranty as I live in the country, only covered for metro customers, what a joke!!
