Have you seen a big cat recently?

I couldn't find the old threads on this old conspiracy theory to add to, so started a new one.

Could get interesting, even Simon Townsend (remember wonderworld?) got involved.

I seem to remember a few well known identities on this forum claimed to have seen them.

I once shot a black feral cat, it was very large. I wonder how big a feral cat can actually grow, or 2nd, 3rd and so on generations of them. Does evolution make the bigger?

the wildcats I have shot appeared to be small but I have trapped some and their anger is something to be seen, I had to shoot them in the trap.

I had a mate at uni who was studying feral cats in WA. The biggest one he ever saw (bigger than a house cat, size of a small dog) they shot with a .22, but it managed to jump a 10 foot fence and keep running. They never did find the body after fruitless searching. He reckons that yes, there are some quite large cats out there!

I have shot plenty of feral cats and most of them are bigger that your average moggy and a Lot tougher as well, I always use the .243 on these as the .22 isn't enough "Gun" for these.
