You would be able to fit multiple boxes of chinos and latte’s in the back.
I’m not sure if the tub could handle goat Poo though.

We cheat, We take a Hilux twincab and my D2a when we go away.
The Hilux tows the small van and carts the extra water, fuel and various other stuff and the Disco tows the boat and carries the tools and the fridge and freezer.
If we need to go somewhere a bit dodgy we take the Disco
Taking 2 trucks on a trip doubles your fuel costs But if going "Remote" it is Much safer and you can take more Kit

100% agree with regards to each and every offroad trip I made in the Malaysian rainforests across the 18yrs I was there to end of 2016. in thick heavy clinging muddy conditions (clay and non clay), with almost daily monsoon rains etc... its such a luxury to be able to throw muddy or wet kit into the tub and not care about the mess...

Been back in AUS now for a bit over a year - not convinced yet that the same advantages exist.

Some guys at Land Rover in the early years of the D3 made a dual cab ute out of spares - well just because. Never saw the road and still exists in the UK. I saw it in one of last years LRO or LRM magazines.
