I was once still awake when I was wheeled into the operating theatre. The surgeon started talking to me and I suddenly conked out. Very glad I did as I was having a vasectomy. Wouldn't want to be awake for that, no way
Well it only took about 5 seconds. Drop the dacks drop the old fella out grasp the end of the stent and pull it out. It was about 40cm long and about 3mm diameter. It was in there to allow the bits of the destroyed stone to pass. All good. The stone was 6.5mm in diameter. Bit worrying when the male nurse that did it was very outwardly gay....
Nothing against gay ppl just scared me a bit...lol
Cheers Rod.
it is possible to be too informed about some things....
I will spare you the details of my prostate removal, but i did notice every day i recovered the nurses went from drop dead gorgeous to dropped out of a tree, and once you have a catheter removed you have no more secrets
By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.
apologies to Socrates

Clancy's gone to Queensland Rovering, and we don't know where he are
Yes young looking nurse there. I had them wash me, but then ugly lunch lady came in whilst I was Exposed on the bed inserting my catheter to bring in my lunch and she got an eyeful
Then I was sitting on the toilet and the door opened and a nurse squatted in front of me and started to put on a pair of those red safety socks with the nobby bits on the soles, so I would not slip in the ward walking around.
thought it could of waited until I got out of the loo, but OH&S!
They have seen it all before so you and I are nothing new
