I'm married to a nurse. They have seen it all. They are also ridiculously overworked because shiny bum administrators put cost savings ahead of caring for patients.

I just get the flu vaccine so I don't have serious flu events and it becomes a non-issue. Actually it was The Navigator who got the flu twice last year.

Just heard from Heather; Mario is back in Hospital again. Not for the op, but the same problem as originally.

I took him to Box Hill hospital last night with the same symptom as last time. They are keeping him there again and on IV's again to get on top of this. He is booked for his op for Monday to get the stone out. So they are keeping him there. So I am playing it by ear to see if he will have the op on Monday. At the moment we can not get a break with his illness. So guys you will have to deal with me(lol). Heather

Looks likely that Monday's op. might be canceled. Right kidney may have infection now. Getting a ct scan done. Urologists Also suggested whilst in theatre to have a permanent catheter fitted thru my stonach. This means wearing a bag strapped to my leg. Drawback is the tube comes out on the belt line. So it might be trackies for now on grrr. Thanks for al your best wishes. It really means something to me. Cheers. Mario
