I don’t believe it will be too much of a problem, the DPFs that is... As most toorak stuff is still Bentley’s, BMWs and Mercedes-Benz.
By comparison a smaller percentage have the big 4wd Wagons.
Those that do will get told after the first time how to look after the DPF, and the weekly run to a sporting event will be sufficient to regenerate in most cases.
Those people will either get it right or move the vehicle on..
XC90s are the almost perfect compromise in this situation. Do I want one? NO. Would I prefer my daughter had one over her current PriusV? Absolutely. Is the XC90 a better car for an urban yummy mummy than a D5? Absolutely no question. The XC90 is the almost perfect vehicle for all of the scenarios mentioned. Im fact, they are brilliant. Your kids are safe, even in the third row. Apart from the badge, what's not to like?

And a Dunnu Dore wouldn't lighten your pocket anywhere near as much as the actual running, maintenance,and depreciation costs of a late model Diesel yuppy mobile.....
But those that can afford them probably don't give a rats....
