Stone & Wood is very good beer.
Now you should some peanuts or pretzels with it. Then you have a snack.
Just testing an amber ale I bottled 12 days, very nice at this early stage.
I will be bottling a very interesting beer on tuesday....a Coopers special called Roger Roger.....smells fantastic.
I would have to say that the Best snack food to have with Beer has to be Prawns [bigrolf]
I've just finished the last of my Hot Cross buns, (they keep well in the fridge). I like them hot or cold, toasted or plain, even if some people like to call them Satan Cakes.
Home made pickled jalapenos, chillies and a chilli sauce, normally accompanied by olives, pickled carrots and daikon, Emmentaler (or the like) cheese and a couple of Coopers Green Pale Ales.
I find a sweet Lady Finger banana, cut in to rings, goes nicely with the heat too. Not to everyones taste though.
I do have a carton of Coopers 2017 Extra Strong Vintage Ale sitting on the top shelf of my wardrobe, which will be sampled next year, for which I will be constructing a "Special Edition" chilli condiment as an accompaniment.
ToxicAvenger, with your permission, I might have a crack at your jerky method using a chilli paste I have from '15.
