    What's your Snack food?

What's your favourite snacks? For watchin' tv, on the computer, while driving or playing sport etc?

I've just laid down another batch of Habanero chilli and soy beef jerky. It's a great snack while camping, or a meal in its own right, and is fairly shelf stable.
I make mine HOT. the current batch is topside steak, in strips against the grain with a 10x10mm cross section. Marinated in soy sauce, habanero peppers, chilli flakes, Ancho chilli powder, smoked paprika, and some 'other spices'. 48hrs in the dehydrator and it's game on!
The chilli death sauce spice paste

I've also been into sunflower seeds (roasted in the shell). There is a bit of a knack to eating them, as you need to crack the shell in your teeth and get the kernel out, then spit out the shell. It's something to do, as well as something to eat. Great while driving long distances if you're the hungry fidgety type like me

I am rather fond of those prawn or crab crackers that look like little plastic discs before you deep fry them into delicious fluffy chips
When I am driving I like to have a mix of nuts and dried fruit on hand and of course a Bloody big jar of Lollies

    Are they the carolina reaper?

I dipped my finger in the marinade I made this arvo. Tounge went numb and I had a bit of the old eye water going on. Totally worth it!

    's, Nasty little buggers.
I made a batch of chilli mussels once with half of one of these in it and it was inedible, I only grow them because the fruit looks nice But eating them is out of the question.
