Of course this saga is just one more advantage of Defenders - no airbags to impale you.

No they have not been mating with LRs😍

The buy back is in full swing now and due to Honda being unable to retrofit new air bags to a number of older cars. Other brands are also similarly affected and are looking to buy back unrepairable cars.

Mates low k CRV was picked up the other day. He was offered a low ball 3k for it but haggled and settled for a few hundred more.

Towie said it will be crushed in days..as he is as it has been in the family since new and has never ever broken down despite being driven hard by all the kids!

What to buy now that will be as good...even Honda's standards have fallen in recent years?

It's interesting that new airbags can't be fitted to some older cars. Seems a poor design. If the airbag goes off does the car have to be scrapped?

Chances are fairly high in any car that if the airbags are set off its going to be a write off either way

Christ! If it ain't Climate Change, it will be The Virus or ****ty air bags that will get us. Oh yes the Stock market ain't looking too good either so that could still kick us in the rectum..
