You didn't live in Kambalda a few years ago did you? Boots, shoes, thongs (footwear) used to go missing. Found workboots half a block away in the middle of the road. Found the culprit one morning a Bull Mastiff pup. Chasing him up the road at 6 am with my boot in his mouth.

Was living in the very small town of D'Aguilar (not sure on the spelling) in QLD just north of Caboolture.
He used to take things in pairs, for instance when he took a shoe he'd go back for the other one straight away.
Or if he stole a kids toy from a sanpit, say a truck, he'd go back and get the trailer or other parts that go with it. :roll:

Shes actually a Gungrange - but her fathers side of the family are Gunnislake dogs and bitches, and Lawnwoods also!!!

She has just won her challenge / best of breed / Best Gun dog and then reserve best of show today!!!

We hope to have her titled by the end of the year and maybe start thinking about breeding from her.

Yeh, the missus isn't bad at picking her types and genome, we used to show in Sydney and 200klm area radius in the late 70's early 80's https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ Group 5 ACD's (blues) but would always keep track of other breeds, and we knew in a doggie world way the breeders of both "Gunnislake" and "Driftway" and usually try to say "hello" at the Brisbane Royal https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ We now concentrate on Obedience, and own and breed Chocolate Border Collies https://www.aulro.com/afvb/

Macadamia nuts are poisonous for dogs. Not sure how many they need to eat though.

our male cat is a sink ****er, also walls, curtains, kitchen bench, doors, boots, shoes, clothes. i swear if the dogs sat still long enough, he'd **** on them. he also sharpens his claws on my blundstones. the female cat hides in the cupboards and can open the bedroom window from the outside (inside their cat run). my female dog and i have a special language that she responds to, the other 2 don't. the males are just idiots, about the only odd thing they do is eat the bird seed off the floor from around the bird cage.
one good thing the 3 of them did the other night was alert me when our male cat, who'd got out earlier, was in the back yard. i let them out and they split up and trapped him in the garden and held him there until i could get him. they were very proud of themselves.
anything to annoy the cats.

At some stage were they chocolate coated almonds?
Your pooch may have been removing the chocolate whilst you were out.

That's a lovely looking Lab notwithstanding your claims about her attitude. Tt was only a few years ago that I saw my first chocolate Lab and it by coincidence I read a copy of the English magazine "The Field" which had an article about the choc Labs. There is/was a big debate about their alledged inferiority as gun dogs and their trainablility. Does that debate exist in Lab circles in Australia?

I have been a Border Collie fan all my life but only ever owned one, Dougal, a b&w dog. I only ever saw one brown and white purebred and that was on a beach in Esperence. She was a juvenile but drop dead good looking. I'd love to see some pics. Do you have a website or a website of some brown and white breeders?

Sneaky pup there CraigE. When my shepherd was a pup he used to take great delight in jumping up and taking all the washing off the line. So to fix him................. a stocking with socks covered in chilli and tabasco sauce. So next time he jumped up.........well you can guess the rest not only the spicy mouth but the other end copped a caning as well 8) . He never jumped up and took another crack at the washing. Of course he now has a thing about stockings, so I make sure I dont wear them when he is around 8O ( just kidding folks).
