Yep it was known as a Buick and had nothing to do with the Aust Holden 5 litre. Cheers
While both the V6 and V8 Buick engines are 90 degrees there is very little similarity between them. Front and rear block bolt patterns are quite different. I've worked on a Buick 300 cast iron block V8 and it's true to the design of the original 215 which the V6 isn't. To say they are related is pushing it.
