'Unconscionable conduct': Ford tried to blame customers over faulty gearboxes

It IS a good thing Mick.
And so is the new Commodore. Problem is, it ain't like the old one, and buyers are being put off by the "Peugot aspect".
For sure, part of it's problem may be that it doesn't look much different than a multitude of other cars,....I'm not saying it's a "standout" car, but it's not a "bad" car either, as people who actually drive one will discover.
Pickles.

Maybe we need an independent entity charged with compiling ethics ratings of car companies if not all large companies in australia.
Discusting conduct and equally discusting outcome. Record fine or not, this was still a cheaper option for Ford than fixing the issue so they wouldn't give two ****s about the fine. It should have been $100M fine and compulsory buy back of all defective vehicles. They may have taken notice then.
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.
Compulsory replacement at the very least.
