I am currently running the Scorpion Zero M&S 255/50 R20 109Y, and was wondering if the Scorpion ATR plus 275/55 R20 would have any issue on the 8.5J Rim size, and per threads stating with fuel hose?
Note the 255 05 265 is not available on R20 from Pirelli.
No problem fitting 275/55R20 to an 8.5" rim as that is mid-point in the recommended width range. I'm not so sure about that size on a D4 though.
Hi All,
After reading the thread I ended up ordering some MOAB wheels (5x) via 4WD1 as the the Compomotives in black are still a few months away via Stuckeys.
I noticed on the Pirelli website the AT+ come in two specs for 18" 265/65R18 114T and 265/60R18 110H
Interested in:
*If anyone has any experience with the 265/65R18 114T (higher load rating)?
*Will the outside diameter of the 265/65 fit in the underbody wheel well?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Symo
PS: With all this rain might be time for another Condamine trip
They are, or at least were, also available in 255/60R18 XL LI112.
Has anyone got some long term feedback on the Scorpion AT plus, also vs the K02? I’m looking at 275 55 R20 for the L494 SDV8
You could also ask in the L494 Forum.[smilebigeye]
I would have fitted a 2nd set of AT+ in 275/55R20 to my L322 except that at the last minute I was able to get GG AT3 in 255/60R19. For me 275/55R20 are just a little too big for the L322.
The AT+ were quiet right through their life, unlike the previous BFG KO2 set in the same size which were noisy from the outset then got worse with wear. The AT+ performed well for me in all conditions, notwithstanding that one didn't survive an encounter with a lump of limestone hidden on the edge of a remote SA track. The rim was also slightly damaged.
