    That's some fish SF. I think we already have that recipe ;

    Place the fish in a large pot with a rock at least the same size as the fish.
    Boil for a week.
    When finished , remove and discard fish, eat rock.

    If you recipe is different, perhaps you could share it with us.

    Have you thought of a hovercraft for the mud?

    Don.

    I have heard Land Cruisers make good land anchors when buried.

    I had a recipe a long time ago that involved a substantial period of immersion in vinegar. Aim being to dissolve the bones, legion that they be. Then a substantial period of immersion in other fluids to get rid of the vinegar saturation.... etc

    I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

    Carp are very well regarded in many parts of the world and the fish that we consider as "Vermin" here would be many a foreign fishermans "Dream" fish.

    Dan-zug is the name of that side arm of the main Koros river where i have a cottage, all those side arms were the live river more than 100 years ago when the hungarian government used ''jailbirds'' to make that larger straighter and navigable waterway with enbankments and redirected it so these arms were left both sides...so actually which is named now Koros river is man made... the arms are connected to the big river through locks as to get fresh water cos they extract water from them for agriculture.... meanwhile the association is stocking all those side arms with all kind of fish...it's a good place if you dont have an ocean within reach

    There were a lot of Eastern European "reffos" working on the Snowy Scheme. They regarded carp as a first class eating fish. They would catch carp for their own table and (illegally) net trout streams and convert trout into grog. They would take the trout to the little mountain village pubs frequented by failed trout fishermen from the big cities and sell them.
