Big wet arrives with heaviest falls in weeks

Wow! Big wet is arriving. Honestly, I don't believe headlines anymore.
The BOM reckons we'll be getting around 5mm on Friday.

    Oh, from the article:
After the seventh driest May on record in NSW, onshore winds feeding into a low-pressure trough have caused a mild and showery start to winter in the state's east.
Lots of disinformation has been flapping about in the press of late. Lots of hyperbole.

Been looking at the weather forecast for the week. Showers predicted every day for pretty much all of the state.
Thunderstorms predicted for tonight. There is another cold front coming through.

    Well, it is winter.

I have to spend the next two days doing first aid at an athletics carnival, in a tent, so I would like fine and sunny days please Mr Weather God.

Two years ago it snowed on the Granite Belt the night before the same carnival and I spent the day huddling shivering students behind a plastic wall to get out of the freezing wind.

I have already pre-ordered coffee deliveries for the next two days to keep me warm.
