I have already pre-ordered coffee deliveries for the next two days to keep me warm.
I pit crewed for a mate at the Warwick hill climb one Easter. Temp in Brisbane when we took off was over 90F. Foolish us did not have cold weather gear. Just about froze our nuts off in Warwick that night. Down in the low 40'sF.

Can be very cold up in the high border ranges country. Warwick down through New England. I used to cart spuds out of Guyra. Coldest bastard of a place I have yet been to in Australia. Right on top of the New England plateau. There is nothing between Guyra and the South Pole to break the cold winds.

yesterday it got to 19.2C and went down to 8.1C So it is definately winter for these parts.
We were supposed to escape this cold and be heading up North on Friday But yet another delay will see us heading off the following week instead,

Yeah, I agree. I'd rather be hot than cold.

I thought you Queenslanders only got two seasons. Dry and wet.

Aren't you currently in the dry season?

Winter is well and truly here.
Rain and showers all day yesterday, overnight and this morning. This good weather couldn't last. Now a cold font is coming.

‘Vigorous’ weather to bring coldest conditions in two years

"Snow is likely to fall all the way to the Central Tablelands of NSW"

Antarctic blast to punish Australia with freezing temperatures, snow and 90km/h winds as destructive thunderstorms batter the south east

Looks like it will be a damp, cold weekend for me.

Good job I've not thrown out the winter woollies.

    Well, it is winter.
Huge snowstorm so scary, it’s nicknamed Stormin' Norman

The snow bunnies will be happy.

Drove back from yass yesterday - cold, miserable, and raining all the way - until I got close to home, when the dust started to kick up, and it was just cold and miserable. The heater in the 110 is not very effective!
