Rain bomb to (from the headline) drench Australia this weekend.
Rain bomb to drench Australia this weekend as a month's worth of showers hit the country - but drought-stricken farmers could miss out

Well, Sydney is Australia, isn't it?

Almost spring. The weather should be warming up. The clouds parted today. There is blue sky up there.

Been high 20's here for a couple of weeks. My grape vines and fig trees are saying it is spring. Bud burst. Nearly always clear skies in a Queensland winter.

If you don't wish to freeze your bum off in winter, don't live in the frozen state. More to the point, don't live south of Grafton/Coffs Harbour.

I bet there were a few that were freezing their bums off on the Sunshine Coast the other morning - TV said it got down to 3 overnight there.
