Exactly the same way as it gets lift in the air. Aeroplane engines thrust against the air, not the ground.

Oh lordy, not again. The conveyor has nothing to do with it, it will fly. Both physics and experiments have proven this. That's all I'm saying, this thread will go bonkers like the last one...

As soon as you (mythbusters) accelerated faster then the treadmill, you broke the rules of the question.

When plane starts to move, wheel rotation will quickly ramp up to infinity.

The OTHER version does allow it to fly...
