Thanks Ian! Yes it was very very wet. Some businesses were hard hit and 1 place, Brookfield / hopfields in Margate which was a very old hops farm and converted to s restaurant and small business centre for quite some years was so badly flooded that it may never open again. Tge owners lost everything as the flood waters went tgrough at almost head height. Our workshop is fine however our storage unit got some water in under the door and some minor water damage, unfortunately some personal items were ruined. Many more terrible stories of loss and damage are on social media too.
