AT RESTI was channel surfing lately ( Nothing worthwhile on TV ) and came across Eurovision. I watched a performance from the Israeli contestant who was weird looking and sung a song about Chickens?
Israel won eurovision. Has the world got such bad taste these days!

My friends/family and I have been watching Eurovision for the past decade or something, even getting up to watch it live in the last few years. We love it because it has weird and quirky songs such as the Israeli chicken dance. Slow ballads with a guy and girl circling each other quickly get boring...
The Moldova entry with the opening doors/wall panels was great, as was the Czech republic dude with the backpack. And a vampire from Ukraine played a piano that was on fire.
The €65,000 euro dress from Estonia was also pretty amazing.

SupporterThe Eurovision song contest is what it is and just because Australia came in 20th doesn't mean that the weird Israeli song was better it simply means that the judges and the phone in voters liked it more.
All this moaning about us not winning because we are not part of Europe is just rubbish, Israel doesn't strike me as being European either and it didn't effect their result.
