only downsides are i have to use the home phone on speaker phone to hear it properly and the extra time when going to bed and getting ready in the morning etc and having to buy some consumables

a few minutes maintenance and cleaning etc etc daily

everything else is great!

beauty of it all is i can control all of it from my phone...

if mr roudy is sitting on my right i can take focus away from that side.. etc etc

has several very handy modes including cafe, television, live music, music from home stereo, and a few others to boot.

mobile phone calls go directly to my hearing aids via bluetooth

all for under 2k with 3yr warranty

love it....

I know hearing aids are medical devices but in reality how are such things that much different from gadgets like these which retail for $100s rather than the $1000s which a typically hearing aids cost.

no idea

looking at the specs it doesnt say how many signal processors or how many channels it can process at once that i could see.

lots of differences in whats available at what price points and that was a big issue for me due to the numbr of frequencies i am deaf on.

and i prefer to not look like frankenstein esp when dealing with clients :p

these ones i went with cost 12.5% of what i was quoted by a hearing specialist for an almost identical setup, so i am happy with the price point.

but yeah, it is a minefield thats for sure....
