And the driver would be off to prison.

On the rare occasion that I ride a bicycle...I don't depend on other drivers having half a brain, I don't depend on other drivers looking out their windscreen past their noses or their cups of coffee...heck, I don't even depend on my 'right of way'. I steer clear of anything bigger than me...because I live by 'the law of the jungle' anything bigger than me is going to hurt me more than I can hurt them, even if it is my 'right' to hurt them!!

Cycling on the road is dangerous.
Evaluate the risks.
Blame whoever you want, but the risk is still there.
But like most things these days the noisy minority won’t be happy until we bow to their lifestyle choices.

The noisy minority is actually the odd screaming car driver, it's not anybody else.

There is a reason why pedestrian`s are on a foot path just imagine what the roads would be like if you had to share them with cyclist`s and pedestrian`s

Im a driver and would not be silly enough to ride a pushy on the road .

Ol dad said to me when i was a learner motor bike rider a long time ago Treat everyone out there as if they are out to get you , This i still practise today on a M/bike and in a car .

On a pushy when you are being swamped by cars flying past you have no idea what the tosser behind you is going to do as you don`t have eye`s in the back of your head.

I was riding my bike to work years ago, and the risks to me where to great. So I stopped.

The "screaming car driver" maybe a lot of things but I don't think being in the minority is one of them.
