Did roughly 850 klms on the weekend

up to Goomeri via Woodford, Bellthorpe Range Rd etc etc. pretty good most of the time but some pretty wet bits and crap road in some spots

then through to Jimna and a coffee in the hole in the wall cafe at the local hall and lunch at the picnic table on the hill.

then onto the Kilcoy - Murgon road and through to Goomeri.

the road was extremely good with only a few rough sections prior to the turn off to LCMP

after that it went downhill a tad but was still emensely beter than the last time i did it. a camper trailer or offroad van would cope just fine. a lightweight van would be a little iffy IMHO

once we stopped off at Goomeri and had a quick look at the showgrounds, Narelle and I headed up to wattlemere for the night.

we met up with Ian again at Murgon the next morning and went back down the Kilcoy murgon rd and stopped in at peachtrees camping grounds before heading off down to Sunday ck road and through to Kenilworth (road was fairly rough but easily passable) for a cuppa and a spell in one of the parks just out of town.

off up the obi obi ck rd through to Montville and onto Maleny and back down to where we started off the previous day.

great way to spend a weekend...

Even a Peugeot could do it.
