Fess up how many had a vehicle break down this week end?

Wondering how many had vehicle break downs this long week end. It was the usual stranded Land Rovers again as seem to happen every long week end or public holiday . from the Vic High Country to Far remote middle of no where Northern Territory. We had 4 breakdowns parts requests over this Long weekend. interestingly they were all Disco2s don't people do pre trip inspections on their D2s. like check suspension and drive line make sure bolts are done up tight so things don't fall off down the road? Remarkably it's never a defender or other model that finds them selves stuck. I did see a prado being winched up on a flat bed on Saturday

You may lose some business if the D2 drivers start checking things.

Defender drivers are deaf so don't hear bits dropping off, they trundle on leaving a trail of Land Rover parts throughout the landscape.

Got to watch those bloody hair dresser SUV's though, bloody L322's, whenever there's a hint of rain the ABS ****s itself and the brakes lock up. Now the D2 mightn't be in the same 'class' but it is the last real 'off road' 4WD Disco Land Rover made

We didn't go anywhere over the long weekend But in the coming weeks i will be towing a 1.5T boat with my D2a from Geraldton along the coast stopping at Onslow, broome, One Arm Point and Kununurra before ending up at Honeymoon bay just North of Kalumburu a distance of about 4,000K's.
I'll let you know in a few weeks how the Disco fares when I get there

My D2 was absolutely faultless this weekend. Mind you, it wasn't driven anywhere.
    Cheers

My RRS was faultless all weekend as was the RRC. Oh but wait - yep I forgot we caught the train to the caravan and camping show (where if LR was mentioned it induced scowls) and RRC was stored under cover. So perhaps not an accurate representation Fess up how many had a vehicle break down this week end?

Our defer was absolutely faultless as well......although parked up for the weekend as well.

Did think the tyre I plugged in VHC was starting to leak, nope still holding the same pressure.
