So now that they know of your condition how does that help in making the road safe ?
Go my official letter in the mail today, it reads down the bottom
"Enjoy being out on the road and please take care
We appreciate the time and effort you have put into this process and it is great to get a positive outcome
Thank you for playing a part in keeping Victoria's roads safe."
Hmm I was enjoying being on the road before I notified them and had to go through all this rigmaroll
.
So now that they know of your condition how does that help in making the road safe ?
My oldest BiL had type 1 from a fairly early age, 2 injections daily (I think I remember correctly) and he was a shocker. Drank like a fish but was canny enough to always have a card with him which said something like "If you find me unconscious please transport me to the nearest emergency centre as I'm in a diabetic coma".
He got away with it for many years.
And he was a bloody shocking driver...... and a driving instructor!!!!
But he lost a leg and went blind and eventually died in his 60s.
