    Kruger Parade?

    Apparently, quite a few.

I'm sure speed was a contributing factor in this one:

Yes well they did get me a couple of months ago, first one since 1984🙄

Yes they dropped the speed limit for the games on the M1 so I trundled along late one night the only vehicle on the road,at the old speed.

Not bad seeing I do close to 40K a year and some days go through numerous speed cameras.

Those trailer mounted ones are the good earners,as they move them around, hide them here and there behind things.

Somehow Mick, I don't think a revenue raising camera would be much of a deterrent to a thirteen year old in a stolen car.

What do the camera`s stop people while they are speeding and give them a stern talking too

No they don`t all they do is fine you 2 weeks after the fact

I once saw a camera car on a very wet day on a straight road and 2 ks up the road from the camera was a P plater car wrapped around a tree due to obvious speed and a fatality at that .
Don`t give me crap they save live`s

Years ago i used to work with a ex toggy and he hated the bloody thing`s and agreed they were a revenue raising rip off .

In Queensland HP cars have speed cameras. They will hide until "business" slows, then move on to the next location. The first the victims know of their indiscretion is from the postman. Surely, if the offence is dangerous enough to fine the driver, QPS and the operating policeman or policewoman, have a duty of care to stop the action immediately. In any workplace, everyone has an obligation to stop the job, if they see a danger.
