Measured 25mm this morning, started yesterday about 1000, so not exactly heavy.

Still going, but a bit difficult to tell how extensive, as the Namoi weather radar has failed again almost as soon as it started to rain.

Still raining, but not very heavy.

The very last thing you want is heavy rain on dry paddocks, Light persistent rain is much better.

Definitely - but on the other hand, the light rain is not going to put any water in the empty dams! At least the light rain is filling my household tanks (very large roof area, thanks to all round verandah).
