I like weeds suggestion, getting a loan of a private property is something else.
Tell us more about the property weeds, from what you have posted before, it sound like a fair size block with some interesting adventures available.

Matt, was actually going to send this to you and Rob at some point today.
Aye, Mick
This sounds great, will get it in this month's RRCQ mag. Love this place. Miles of tracks - of all standards and descriptions.
Also, camping spots galore - you can have so much space you won't even see other groups.
RE: Easter / other AULRO ideas - I would think it's almost 2 late for an Easter get together - a lot of the places mentioned (public) are heaving that time of year - crowds, once a year campers & 4wders, yobbos etc., become a royal pain in the ass.
Get on the Rover trip or we should do a day trip...Just my humble opinion
Is there any beach left at Bribie :?:
is that the sandy stuff that used to live at bribie but now lives in the leeds into brissy ?Quote:

it would be around the 1 1/2hr drive for most on the northside, closer for you gold coast mob, gee i have never timed myself
we drive through one other property on the way in
the drive into ok corral is high range following a creek, there are a by-pass track at the end, for those that are keen they can go the old track i have never tried it
there are three main loops we do which are all low range with nothing real tough, in saying that i have bent a front steering rod. i have travelled every track except high knob in my 79 rangie with road tyres on
the cliffs track - nice low range climp to the top of some cliffs over looking lake maroon, there a negitave camber corner with some loose stone near the tops where open diffs my get some wheel slippin. great views from the top and there normally a wedge tail eagle cruising around, i was out there the other month and steve had his bull dozer out there so we cleared a big area on the top, before this there was only enough room for three cars, steve has been sneaking some fence posts out of this area and reackons we could make a new track to the top from the north eastern side
sunset hill - great sunsets over the ranges, to get back to ok corral we normally have to get out a couple of machetties to trim the lantarna back as we skirt around the side of the hill, the decent back to ok corral is where i ben t my steering arm (it was at night after a few beers watching the sunset)
high knob - only discovered this last year, there is a sand pit at the start which you can test your articulation, the main climb has a tough a little step at the end, i cruised up fully loaded with 16ft canoe and lockers, stews 100 series took 4 attempts using quite a bit of throttle as there no way he would let a landie help him out and simon 75 trayback needed a snatch. steve the owner has been using the bulldozer in the area, hopefully he has left this track alone although he does need to get around the property in his stock navara.
the main track to the dam has a washed out track that follows the fence line. for tose that are keen and want to battle the lantarna there plenty of staghorns orchids etc at the bottom of the cliff
i think there is between 1500 - 200 acres to play with, and for those that want some tough stuff there plenty of room to make your own tracks
hey this is only one suggestion, somebody mention labour day, is that the first may as rover park is on that weekend.
at his stage my weekends are free til the 18 may, if this venue day get picked i will go for the weekend so that we can cater for campers and day tripers
do i have to lead the trip, hey glen we can go for a quick tour one day if you or just follow me on the day/weekend if we go
Hi weeds, correct me here if i’m wrong, this is private property so there is not going to be traffic jams and we can pretty well do what we want.
And it’s close for all as Boona itself is only an hour from Nerang.
Sounds like something we could seriously look at.
Cheers
I'm with Drivsafe - this is sounding pretty Damn Good!!!
Weeds has pushed this location before but his sales pitch is much, MUCH better this time. https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ https://www.aulro.com/afvb/
