They make bars in Thailand but not, as I understand it, for the Australian market.
I was told that, amongst other things, it's cheaper to freight bars to the US from Thailand and the US is their single biggest market.

It is only my personal opinion But i rate the ARB bullbars to be the best on the market bar none But much of the other ARB gear appears to be overpriced Chinese imports and i find that i can get the same quality if not better from 4WDsupercentre for a fraction of the ARB prices.
I agree 100%, i have had ARB bars /warn winches since the late 80's and they always look superior and are well made. And yes much of their other gear is over priced junk and is very much devaluing the brand. I have been into an ARB shop once this year (first time in over a decade) and it just reaffirmed my view as above. Wont be hurrying back.....
I haven't been in to the local ARB since a "customer service person" told me "You could get that info. off the net" in response to my question re something or other. I did and went elsewhere to spend 3 grand.

PS. I really went off ARB when they stuffed the install of a dual battery system ruining a battery then the workshop foreman tried to palm me off with a small part payment towards a new battery and "check" of the system.
Luckily the then manager (sadly deceased) got it fixed properly.
Not sure what his background was but he was obviously more interested in what he was looking at on the screen. Amazing how that companies branches have changed over the years.
Still, I suppose there's more money in fixing mine site vehicles than bothering with the public.
