You are a snake bite waiting to happen. my friend.
I like snakes, I know a bit about their "mechanics" - I fix them for a living, unlike the landys which are a hobby only, and the mechanics of which I am still coming to terms with (they make you learn a lot)
The pet growing most rapidly in popularity in the USA is the Bearded Dragon, closely followed by Stimpson's and Children's Pythons - all Aussie expats!!

35 plus years ago I killed them, too - but not now.
I remember trying kill a very large black snake and getting a rather big fright when the snake moved extremely quickly to get away - fotunately in nthe other direction away from me. That was in 1970. I remember that I'd have had no chance had it decided I was the target. I haven't tried since.

Vet in private practice, small animals only these days, if it can fit through the clinic door I'll look at it. Have always had an interest in wildlife, it keeps things "interesting".

It's amazing how big an animal will fit through a door if it's running fast enough :!:Originally posted by Lucy
