Deceiving, I think it would bite all right if annoyed enough.
    Yes, I think you're right.
Years ago, a friend of mine had a snake, he used to keep it inside, it'd sleep under the couch in the living room.
But, he used to take it outside sometimes & place it in a tree. On one occasion, according to him, He made a mistake when retrieving it from the tree, in that instead of being totally front on, He was a bit to one side, as a consequence of which the snake struck out & gave him a nasty bite,.....didn't concern my friend, he said it was his fault.
    Pickles.

Our Monty is quite well behaved, usually curling up in a pot, or perched on a rafter or in the roof space. I don't know what he feeds on, but he gets fat when his belly is full. We don't want to get rid of him.
P.S. they've all fallen over since I put them in the correct way round.
    Don.

I had a couple in the shed last year for about 6 weeks they were up to a bit of hanky panky no doubt, the neighbour had one drop at his feet from his shed roller door, he opens it very slowly now.
Carpets are the Labradors of the snake world and I don’t mind them in the shed although you get a few things knocked down .

It will be interesting to see how big he gets.
Interesting as the one up north has a different pattern to the ones down here.

It has been 27° here for two days and the wildlife is waking up. This is the best conditioned python I've seen at this time of the year. Always a bit scrawny normally.

As a city boy i think you guys are very lucky to have those guys around. My Mum gets snakes at her place but they are usually either Black or Brown. Neither are welcome .
Once you remove that snake there would be another that will move in at some stage so why not just make the Avery snake proof. Better than dealing with rats.
