So the army choose not to remove the sway bars on the G's. And yet the 6*6 still flips on bitumen....
Could it be the trailer? With the pintle setup?
Hot topic on Facebook today....

Well, the new G is wider and hence more stable.....
Will the aus army start getting the new widened ifs models?
We will never get the teal story unless somebody actually talks to the operator.
When the perenties come in there were plenty of roll over killing and operators or two...I don’t believe there has been a loss of life.
No different to G Wagon, new vehicle, new handling, are carrying way more loads and Neely all towing big trailers. Throw that in with young drivers, driving at convoy speed staring at a piece of canvass 100m in Front all day is very tiring, co-drive probably asleep, big night the **** the night before, up late squeezing a last root before heading of on ex.....having a snooze would my guess. **** happens, how many road accidents across Australia, how many of these involved defence? Probably 1.....
Nearly every accident I come across in the defence I cannot remember a case of the vehicle being at fault when it was operated as per military driver training.....including the mishaps I was involved in although being in RAEME was I little easier to cover up and or baffle the bosses.
My take is it wasn’t the cars problem....
Maybe the trailer got the death wobbles and flipped them both?
I believe it standard mil practice to put a new model vehicles on their roof for a bit, the novelty will pass.![]()
