I want a 55 series Toyota Land Cruiser

    Like this:

but before you all flip out and think "Vlad's gone crazy / crazier" -

I wouldn't buy one until I won lotto (I'm not wasting my OWN money on one)

and why would I want one ? For an evil plan.

A plan so cunning it cannot fail.

A plan so cunning you could stick a tail on it and call it a weasel.

I would like to use the body of the L/C but use all the running gear of a RR LSE (or similar) with air suspension and the lot.

Then when they saw how capable it was off-road and all the 'yota yobbos are cheering and bragging about it .... point out to all and sundry that it's really a Rover.

It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

I think you might have a bit of trouble finding one that has more steel than rust left these days. Its years since I saw one that wasn't badly rusted.

You guys have it all wrong.
Toymoto's & ****ans were invented to keep the clowns out of landies.

Do we really want a bunch of hilux owners suddenly buying gods own.
The landy owners reputation would plummet

    Ugly ?

They're the best looking wagon Toyota has ever made.

(Make of THAT what you will !)

And yes the only (and very few) ones I;ve seen have all been rusty.

I'll stick to Landies, don't fret.

I have one of those with
383 Chev, headers, pto winch, arb front bar, ultimate suspension, 4 wheel discs, 200 litre arb fuel tank, 140 litre gas tank, recaro drivers seat, roll bar/cargo barrier, dual batteries, kaymar rear bar and wheel carrier, front and rear diff locks, air con, air con compressor for air pump with receiver from a truck.
Its not a bad thing but its rough compared to a rover. Gets along and stops very nicely though.

I don’t think I have seen one driving around for about two years now.
Vlad are you going into Vintage cars now.
