Qld. academic states 4WD's should be banned rom National Parks

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

I do reckon we are loving our beaches to death.......

Especially teewah/cooloola, in slip point and fraser to an extent.

I’d like to see them double the price of fees access and half the number of campers on teewah.

Either way gates will slowly take over...as the authorities don’t want to visitors/cars/infrastructure in national parks.

whole heartly agree, I see it every time I head down to the west coast of tassie, not sticking too tracks, ripping up dunes, by passing firm based water holes to rip up the swampy plain beside it, the list is endless

I've seen more road kill in 6 months, on the road to my front gate, than I've seen all up in the years I've been going to Moreton, Fraser, D/Island etc. Come to think of it, I really can't think of a time I could say I've seen roadkill on a beach. Plenty of prop strike victims though, unfortunately.
Hmmm, where will it stop? A boat is an "Off road vehicle" too!

    Hi,
Idiots turned a grassy campsite into a churned up muddy field in the highlands last year.
It would take months to recover from being unusable.
    Cheers

Wouldn't this make any thinking person doubt his words?

previous statements made by the same academic, Professor Shlacher, in 2008, that “on any given day, over 250,000 cars travel up and down this beach”, and “… they’re dying by the billions under the wheels of our recreational vehicles”.
