    A real WTF moment.

    Nice sunny day so i got the Trumpy out to ride to work, on the western ring rd sitting on the speed limit i saw this bike coming from my left fly past me.
    As he pulled in font of me i noticed what he was wearing or lack of more like it, he was in track pants, thin top and bare foot !
    No plate on the back so i can only assume that it was possibly stolen.

    Can only guess at what people like that are thinking... Maybe an excursion off the bike at 140KPH in tracky dacks might teach him a lesson...

    Bare feet - that just amazes me - I'm too much of softly to even move my bike in bare feet without an 'ouchy' moment...

    I know, went to move it once in socks and quickly put a pair of shoes on.

    While part of me wants him to fall off and learn his lesson....

    ...I also figure, someone out there almost certainly loves him...and I'd hate for them to get the news that he'd been killed or injured. So...the sensible part of me hopes he stays safe.

    Yes, I always shutter when I see people riding with so little protection.
    I love the riders that have thongs on for "boots".
    I once came off at around 70kms /hr and had a nice slide along the road. My jacket and leather chaps saved me from loosing any skin - I walked away unscathed.

    Seen a young woman riding yesterday. Singlet, shorts and sandals.. I guess at least she had a helmet on.


    My mind just thinks how sad it is when I see this sort of thing, as sooner or later the inevitable will happen.

    What a funny world we live in.

    I would have thought as a rider the rider is able to make the choice on what he/she wants to wear. Protective gear or not.

    Seems to me the only one that will be hurt by said actions is the rider.

    Have i worn just a singlet and thongs while riding? Yep sure have.

    Would i have been upset if someone from the public decided to tell me to wear the correct attire? YES!

    A pair of runners or even elastic sided boots is no better in a get off. Easier to change gear though .
