I don't know about that but I didn't feel very Bogan-ish when I had a Circa 1840s olde Pump Shed pulled down with a mini excavator.

Either that or it would have killed someone (me?) if it had come down of it's own accord.

Was partly constructed of old rusty Tar Drums, split with an axe & flattened out as you did in the old days.

Supporting Posts & rails were old Stringy bark from this property & I was amazed how good the timber was away from the weathered exterior & very, very hard, & certainly harder than I would have expected, but that's what age does in real life as well, ain't it, fellow AULRO Olde Timers?

No, using a Defender for Gardening applications is considered normal practice for a lot of Land Rover owners.

    Hi,
Hooked the winch up to an unwanted decorative pine tree near the house. Had a pulley at the front of a mate's trailer on his car, so out came the tree and up into the trailer in one move.
    Cheers

The short answer is no. What would have been bogan would have been for old mate to have had a couple of his mates behind the boat on ski ropes riding skateboards and old mate was about to do a U-ey at the lights to go back and pick up one of them who'd fallen off.

He doesn't have a disability, he bought the scooter to get around on because he'd lost his drivers licence.

There's a whole class of illegal electric and petrol motorbikes running around in the bike lanes, a large percentage of which are apparently being ridden by drivers who've lost their licences. They're no joke - I was in my car and got passed by a petrol one built onto a BSO and it was doing 60kmh - but with a BSO's brakes .... last year motorbike deaths in Victoria went up by 50%, and the increase was due to people killing themselves on the electric/petrol illegal bikes.

Apparently roadside breath testing stops catch a lot of unlicensed drivers and unregistered vehicles.

And a Drivers Licence is an Official certificate of road knowledge & skills, right?

    Mental ability doesn't matter then?

Throw the book at him for he's an idiot & could have maimed or killed innocent other people not that anyone could give a flying **** about him.

I remember years ago reading about a bloke who was charged for being drunk in charge of a ride-on mower. Apparently he rode it to the pub. I think from memory he was on the footpath on the way home when they nabbed him. So I guess you could also be done for being drunk in charge of a scooter. Pedestrians automatically have right of way on footpaths, unless they are marked for bicycles.

As for us pulling down the carport, we had been up on the roof removing the iron and timber and she was getting quite wobbly with holes to fall through, so it was time to bring out the winch, for the first time in a couple of years, so now I know it still works.
