    Uhoh!

Ferrari trashed in two-vehicle Brisbane crash
I wonder if speed was a factor.

Speed is a factor in every road incident, thats why they line the roads with speed cameras......

Oh,and they only put them in areas where there are continual incidents, which is often near the bottom of hills, and just after where the speed limit is suddenly reduced.......

The driver declined the purchase, stating "It doesn't seem to handle as well as I expected."

Looks like the engine might salvaged. I used to work for John Maher who purchased engine and transmission from a wrecked 365 GT4 BB in early seventies. He flew to Italy and met with Enzo, and convinced him to sell him a body shell. Then spent a year building it. Did a fabulous job. This then started his whole Ferrari ownership. He had some gorgeous cars in particular his 275 GTB with Borrani wheels. I remember he sold that to some English Earl for 170,000 Pounds in mid eighties. He got complaints that he sold it overseas however no one in Aussie would cough up same money. Alan Jones was interested but ultimately didn’t go through. So there’s a thought!

Yep, a lot of the 'burbs, small, faux 4x4s, are noted for speeds below the limit.

Quite true, but only a causal factor in 8% of accidents, if you believe the Science. Thank goodness only a handful of people believe the Science, otherwise the Governments would go broke.
On another note; I wish that 8% mob would drive somewhere other than Greenslopes.
    Cheers, Billy.

By the way; I hope Ian isn't developing a morbid fascination for motor vehicle accidents.
